Paint correction is the progress of removing imperfections from a vehicle’s paint work to restore clarity, depth and gloss. It is done by machine polishing the vehicle’s clear coat also known as “laquer” to level out the defects rather than just covering them up.

Paint correction removes or reduces:
● swirl marks
● Lights or moderate scratches
● Oxidation which is faded or dull paint
● Water spots and mineral etching
● Holograms which can be left from “improper” polishing techniques
● Light surface marring

Why does paint correction matter?
Paint correction matters because it restores shine and depth back to your paint work, it increases resale value of your vehicle, and it prepares the paint work for wax or ceramic coating, it will let the wax or ceramic coating sit on the paintwork better which will last a lot longer!

Just think of it as when you are exfoliating your skin, you’re removing all the unwanted and damaged surface material so that the healthy layer underneath can shine through!
